Kaizer Chiefs v Polokwane City

Kaizer Chiefs will be looking for a third win in four league matches when they host on-form Polokwane City at the FNB Stadium on Saturday night (8-15pm).

Amakhosi drew 0-0 against SuperSport United in Mbombela in their most recent league outing, which sees them fourth on the table with 23 points, eight points behind leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.

While one of the Glamour Boys' new signings, Kabelo Mahlasela, is out with a knee injury, Siphelele Ntshangase and Leonardo Castro could be in line to make their debuts for the Soweto giants.

Head coach Steve Komphela will however be without George Maluleka and Siyabonga Ngezana, who are both suspended.

Komphela will be hoping though that Castro's signing will help increase his side's output in the final third of the field.

"Our defence has been solid and if we can be more clinical at the other end of the pitch and put away our chances with greater regularity, we'll be well on our way," he said.

Rise and Shine meanwhile will approach Saturday's encounter full of confidence after they beat Sundowns 3-2 last weekend, a second successive league victory for the Limpopo team, who are in 11th position with 18 points.

The first round match between the two sides at the Peter Mokaba Stadium ended in a 0-0 stalemate.

In 13 previous meetings, Chiefs have won seven and Polokwane just one.
